The FX-7 frame consists of two primary elements: the hexagonal shape heavy duty legs and the reinforced cross bars which provide truss support to the 10×20 canopy rooftop. Together these components form the strongest folding tent Flare Shade has to offer. The leg bars have been engineered at 2.5 inches in diameter and are engineered from marine grade extrusions of 2mm thick aluminum. The equally durable extruded connector pieces have been uniquely designed to lock and support the frame expansion for reliable, hard-wearing application and long-term exposure to the elements.

In weight, although the 10×20 delivers top size and material strength, the total frame load scales in at just 110lbs; this means the structure can still be lifted, transported and erected by only two people. When set up to full height, the tent with roof affixed peaks at 10’10” and allows a clearance space beneath the canopy valance of more than 6 ½ feet. For peace of mind, Flare Shade backs this product with a 10 year warranty on the frame and 12 months on the canopy fabric.
