Description
Japanese plum liqueur, made with a sake base and abundant Japanese plums.
It is the traditional plum liqueur of country houses, produced once a year for local families. The ume (plums typical of Japan) are macerated in sake, releasing the naturally acid taste, however balanced by an initial sweetness and a slightly almondy aroma.
